PRINCESS

Although every fairytale princess is wonderfully unique, there are several undeniable characteristics they all share. Beauty, of course, is among them. Every princess is perfectly lovely, full of grace and charm, but that isn't the only sort of beauty they share. They also all possess purity of heart; something precious and rare to be seen. With gentle goodness and virtue, princesses are in tune with nature and all of the creatures around them. Their souls are kind and brimming with hope. Through enchanting song, the princesses passionately express themselves- their deepest wishes and desires, the beliefs they hold most dear, and their every emotion and sentiment. Alas, cursed by the banschees with a due date to be born on The Ides of March. The sprites acted on behalf of the wee babe. And, instead, the leprechauns brought this fair bonnie lass from their land of magic and into the mortal world on The Day of Saint Patrick....

PISCES AS A CONSTELLATION
One of the most popular stories regarding the mythological origin of Pisces is the story of Aphrodite and Eros. The story involves Aphrodite and her son Eros escaping from the terrible monster Typhon by turning themselves into fish and hiding underwater until it was safe to come back to the surface. As fish, they tied their tails together with a cord so that they wouldn't lose one another while swimming in the darkness of the deep water. Upon hearing their tale, Zeus rewarded the pair by placing them among the stars as the constellation of Pisces.

Water Signs are intuitive, sensitive and feel more intensely than the rest. They are emotional and nurturing and, like a river, run deep. How things feel is essential, and they base their actions on sense, rather than on logic or intellect. Water is also about compassion and understanding, with remarkable receptive talents.

To become aware of the phases of the moon is to become aware of the Goddess as expressed in her three aspects of maiden, mother and crone.
Thus magic that deals with increase is best performed when the moon is waxing. Similarly the full moon is best for giving thanks and working magic aimed to reach our fullest potential. Finally the waning moon is best for removal of unwanted energies, learning of the great mysteries and seeing beyond the veil.
